Handel was a proud composer. Everyone knew he was the best in his time. It was hard to not let this fame get to his head so Handel began to sign his pieces with SDG meaning: Soli Deo Gloria. Translation: To God Alone be the Glory. I want this to be true in my art as well. Everything I make, I want it to be know that this talent was given by God and is not of my own accord and I want my skill to be used wisely.
